Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern the conditions and procedures for using the Aging Sage website and related services (hereinafter "Service") operated by the Korean Association of Product and Services for Senior Citizens (hereinafter "KAPASS"), and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of KAPASS and users.

2. Definitions

  • Service: The Aging Sage website, Life Canvas simulation, programs, and all related content provided by KAPASS
  • User: Any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service
  • Content: All text, images, videos, program materials, and other materials within the Service

3. Effectiveness and Amendment

These Terms take effect upon being posted on the Service. KAPASS may amend these Terms when necessary. Amended Terms take effect 7 days after announcement on the Site. Continued use of the Service after the amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. Use of the Service

  • The Service may be used in accordance with procedures established by KAPASS.
  • Paid online programs require payment through the Cafe24 payment system prior to access.
  • KAPASS may temporarily suspend the Service for operational or technical reasons.

5. User Obligations

Users must not engage in any of the following activities:

  • Registering false information or misappropriating another person's identity
  • Reproducing, distributing, or commercially using Content obtained from the Service without authorization
  • Interfering with the operation of the Service
  • Any other act in violation of applicable law

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Content within the Service (text, images, program materials, etc.) belong to KAPASS or the respective rights holders. Users may not reproduce, transmit, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any Content without the prior written consent of KAPASS.

7. Refund Policy

  • Full refund available within 7 days of payment if the paid program has not been accessed.
  • After accessing the program: a refund will be issued minus the portion already consumed.

8. Disclaimer

KAPASS is not liable for damages arising from natural disasters, service failures, or user fault. The Service is provided for educational and informational purposes and does not guarantee specific outcomes.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes relating to the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court having authority over the location of KAPASS as the court of first instance.
